It’s been a less than ordinary weekend around the Lazy Man household. Usually when my wife travels for work, it is away during the week when I’ve got my hands full with running websites. This weekend she was off at a conference and I stayed back to take care of the dog.
Weekends are typically pretty slow in the website running world. I was able to care of much needed maintenance, but I also took some time to decompress a little, well, a lot. I watched the entire season to date of No Ordinary Family – a show that I expected to be little more than a Fantastic Four/Incredibles ripoff. I was pleasantly surprised
While No Ordinary Family definitely steals borrows heavily from those shows it goes a lot deeper than what I expected. It has an element of Heroes without getting caught up in having dozens of characters that you can’t follow. It has a relationship and character development that keeps things interesting. Of course there’s also the serious of plots that get more complex.
I don’t mean to talk it up like it’s the best show on television. However, if you like Heroes, mixed with a bit of 24, with a dash of a family sitcom mixed in, I recommend you check it out. In the meantime let’s get to the links.
