Amazon Friday Sale: My Modeling Career and Chia Shaggy Edition

June 14, 2008 by Lazy Man 5 Comments

Last week I mentioned how I furnished much of my kitchen with purchases from Amazon’s Friday Sale. There are some good deals, bad deals, and just wacky products out there. Today, I’m going to go through and point some of them out.

  • Best Value: Hand Crank Radio – This made my list of items you should have in seven things you must do before an emergency.
  • Men’s Underwear – Cue up Sisqó! I’m including this only because I get a tiny, tiny portion of the sales for my picture on every box.
  • Amazon Reads Lazy Man – Last week Amazon had Tinkerbell steering wheel and seat covers. This lead me to ask why there were no Tinkerbell floor mats. Amazon reads Lazy and fulfills my wish… here they are. And in a preempt move, Amazon has added Tinkerbell keychains, Tinkerbell CD visors. Now you can your own fully tricked out Tink-mobile.
  • Most Wacky: Ch-Ch-Ch Chai Shaggy – It’s a little known fact, but staging a home for sale with a Chia Shaggy increases sales 87%. I found this by clicking on the health and beauty tab of the Friday Sale – perplexing. As you can tell, this disturbed me on so many levels. Now Chia Daphne… that’s my style.

That’s all I have for this week. Remember to spend your money wisely.
