This heatwave in Boston is really going to cost me in the air conditioning bills. I had done very well with the energy bill the last few months, so I guess it’s easy come easy go.
Of course with the summer heat, Dunkin’ Donuts (a northeast coffee chain) is airing commercials every five minutes during Red Sox games. Unlike most ad campaigns where they pick one song or slogan, they’ve got at least five of the most catchy tunes I’ve seen. If you are from Boston you know what I mean. For those that are not, here’s are some of the commercials that Slate grades an A.
- Doing Things Is What I Like To Do – This was their first and probably best known, but the one I like the least.
- Sticking to the Pleather – This is kind of the underrated one that you forget about.
- Plenty of Room, Plenty of Room, Plenty of Room – This catchy song is probably tied with…
- It’s Like One Billion Degrees…
And now the title makes a little more sense, doesn’t it?
