Grrr... don't mess with me!

Grrr... don't mess with me!

You may have noticed I've been a little rushed the last week. I know I probably sound like I'm always a little rushed, but this was even more so usual. On Friday of last week, we got word that, after many long hours of searching and filling out applications, we'd been matched with a puppy... the exact puppy that you see in the picture. Unfortunately, the timing couldn't be worse... I had just started my unexpected new job and my wife was scheduled by her employer for a business trip. Then Things will be a little hectic here, posting may be reduced... but I won't be reduced to puppy pictures. I'll only be talking about pet ownership as it applies to money.

He’s adorable! Congratulation on the puppy. I hope your new job goes well and your wife has a safe trip.

Awesome! What a cutie…he/she will keep you VERY busy. Have fun with obedience training, LOL!
Have you named it yet? Are you going to let your readers in on the action? :-)I had a feeling you were talking about a puppy last week.

Just like kids, pets often come into our lives at the most “inconvenient” times. But it does always seem to be “for a reason”.

It will be useful to talk about personal finance in regards to pet ownership. I think that often people don’t realize the cost of having pets and caring for them properly.

I don’t know how I missed his name before – Jake.

I’ve discussed the costs of owning a dog as we were researching into getting him. I will write more, hopefully soon.

Pups are great, but *make sure* you spend tons and tons of time training him while he’s young. If not, you’re sure to regret it later ;( But if you do, you’ll have a great pet for years. That reminds me, I have to work on training my pup a little bit tonight.

  5. Awwwwwwwwwww! Adorable! I have such a sweet spot for puppies. And yeah, train that guy while he’s still little, and you’ll be thankful that you did later on!

    Puppy!

Get the pee clean-up kit ready and I empathize with your upcoming lack of sleep…

So is the pup (Jake) a Shiba-Inu?
