Never fear, if you want to save money on perfume or cologne, know that you can get that favorite fragrance perfume of yours for a cheaper price than the MSRP if you are willing to shop around a bit. Here are some of the best ways that you can save money on perfume, and no, it doesn't mean relying on cheap perfume - You can get the good stuff for great prices too!
Searching Online
Another great way to find some of the best perfume prices is to search online. Search through review sites and online retailers and you are bound to find ways to buy perfume at lower prices. This goes both for ladies perfume and men's cologne, and isn't limited to the inexpensive stuff but also includes high quality parfum fragrances. Going directly to Ebay or Amazon can work well if you already know what you want; however, while you are still researching perfume reviews can be an excellent source of information.
Retail Outlets

Most department store employees are quite generous when it comes to sharing their fragrance perfume testers. Visit the local cosmetic counter and you may be able to simply ask politely to receive some different samples. A perfume tester, when used sparingly, can really go a long way and this will keep you in good quality perfume or cologne for a long time without costing you anything.

Buy it big. I paid $100 for the cologne I wear, but it will last me at least a year. It’s amazing how much more expensive per ounce it is if you buy smaller bottles. I knew I liked the cologne, so I went big (I don’t travel much, but if I did I would consider buying a large one for home and small for travel).
As a guy, I obviously don’t buy a lot of perfume (as you would hope!). But I bought my girlfriend perfume for Christmas last year, and I had one in mind. But if you look like you are shopping around they will give you a better deal. Plus look for those steep after Thanksgiving sales on perfume. I got a great brand super cheap, and they threw in a free purse (or bag or something I’m really not sure…) and she still uses it!
Or find a person who uses WAY too much of the cologne/perfume you like, and hover around them for a few seconds to absorb some of the aroma. You’ll be set for a day (or two)

Another idea I’ve seen at local pharmacy’s is the no-name version of the popular fragrances. Unfortunately, most of these don’t last for a whole day so re-applying is necessary.
Duty free is usually another good option.
