Prosper Plan Just Getting Going |

I've been putting together my investing plan on Prosper. I transferred $500 more dollars there in the past week and a half. It's been a little difficult getting the rates on the loans that I used to, but I'm still doing okay. I've got $100 already lent, $250 pending, and $150 in winning bids.
I've been trying to pay down my HELOC, but it turns out that you have to register for transfers online. At that point you have to verify your other bank whic takes a couple of business days. After that, I can transfer money, but that's going take another few days.
You'll notice that I've added a permanent place on the right sidebar to keep track of my goals. I'm excited to see where how I can close the gap in the Month Alternative Income Streams.

Next: Prosper Now Instantly Transferring Funds?
I’ve been thinking about starting to invest in Prosper, but I’d like to hear some more success stories. Any out there???
I think a lot of people are waiting on the sidelines like yourself. I had been putting only small amounts of money myself, however, it’s been successful enough for me to expand and put more money into it.
I don’t think there will be any real success stories for another 6 months or a year. It takes 3 months for a loan to default and one hopes that they are rare. It will take some time and some investment to get a sample size to see if it’s a success or failure.
Or I suppose you could look at their statistics on the website. There are a number of stats such as default rates and average interest rates.
