Please Donate to End Breast Cancer
When I started this site years ago, it was mostly to experiment with the blogging phenomenon. I wanted to find out what all the hype was about. I didn't expect anyone to ever read the site. If you look at the quality of my early writing you'll understand why.
However, something funny happened along the way. A few people read the site for some reason thought it wasn't complete crap. This encouraged me to write more and look for others to connect with. I made it easy for readers to e-mail me and I made it a point to write back to every single e-mail I receive (except for the 5% that get lost in all the mail of my in-box). This has helped me forge some great relationships with readers.
One of those of those readers told me recently that she is sick. Her foe is quite powerful, but she's surprised him by attacking him early. If you knew her as well as I did, you'd wonder why breast cancer would waste its time waging a war it can't win. Turns out breast cancer isn't so smart.
Despite its lack of intelligence in this case, breast cancer affects our daughters, wives, sisters, and mothers (well really everyone - yes men, you can get breast cancer too). So I'd like to ask you to take a minute here and donate to Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. It'll be one of the best ways to reduce your tax bill.
