Thanks for the PR, Lazy Man. Someone else mentioned McGyver in the comments, and my brain does an immediate word association to McGruber. I wonder how much McGruber has boosted the sales of McGyver DVD sets?

Regarding the stock market contest:
The gist is 3 personal finance bloggers vs. 3 ordinary Joes. You can also submit your own guess by leaving a comment. We're past the cutoff for me to officially score the new entries, but if you're spot-on with your guess, I'll still point out how smart you are in the monthly updates. Each of the 6 contestants analyzes the reasons for their guess.

About the site:
I almost hesitate to use the term blog, since we break from the traditional blog format of delving deeply into a particular niche (a great format that works very well for a lot of folks).

I have begun marketing the site as "a web magazine that covers a world of topics every week". We hit everything from sports to "real news" and also have a new fiction short story on Fridays. In an effort to pursue a 1:1 writer:reader ratio (I'm kidding - I think), we have brought onboard a weekly sports columnist and weekly entertainment writer (Bob Inferapel's first piece should appear next weekend).

Try us for a week to get a feel for the site. If you don't like it, simply return the unused portion for a full refund.
