Personal Finance Links (Annoying Weekend Edition)

Comments

This weekend seemed to have one problem after another. It's put me in a rather sour mood. As such the first few articles of the week (and maybe more) are probably about 700% more "ranty" than usual. I just feel like I should get that out there to be fair. Hopefully things will get better as I take the evening off and go enjoy Chevy's $2 table-side guacamole, a cocktail, and the American Idol concert.

Regarding the home not being an investment, one thing missing from the math is the alternative. If you don’t buy a house, you have to rent something (unless you can stay somewhere for free).

In reality, you should compare the cost or renting vs. buying.

Thanks for the link and I think after a few drinks you’ll be feeling better. Just don’t be an angry drunk.

  3. Sorry your weekend didn’t go well. Stand up, stretch your arms to the sky and take a deep breath. Slowly let it out. Feel the tension release from your body and open your eyes to a new week :)

Yea I know kinda new age but it does work wonders. You can restart your day any time you want.

  5. Hope Allison Iraheta and the gang made you feel better! Hope to see you soon, but be in a better mood first. :)
