I’ll give you the same advice I left over at the Simple Dollar blog, read these people: David Oglivy, Drayton Bird, Seth Godin, & Chris Baggott.

I’ve spent years in marketing, & if you want to know how to ‘hook’ into people (in a positive way) you need to learn about new marketing in a tech. world vs. slapping ads up (newspaper like.)

I second that. As someone who got a job thanks to my blog, I can’t wait to hear about your latest endeavor, especially since it sounds like something more entrepreneurial than what I’m doing.

LM, Great minds think alike! I have the same book on my table right now and am going over the strategies myself.

I haven’t been working a regular job since I quit 4 years ago. At the time I was a vice president of a PR agency. I never miss corporate world. No, sir.

I can be forever an event entertainer. I make a living. I work about 3 days a week but it is not like a job. It more like my social life. I go out, I go to parties, I meet interesting people who pay me to be at their parties. Ahh, a starlet life.. LOL. I wouldn’t outsource that part. I might get an assistant to handle my scheduling.. and media inquiries..that I might do next.

Anyway, I am excited to know that YOU are implementing the 4-hour week or something like that..I hope you let us know more when the time is right!
