Fail Blog is one of my regular reads. I’m a huge fan of the LOL-family of blogs (I Has a Hot Dog, I Can Haz Cheezburger, Pundit Kitchen, ROFLrazzi, etc.) and spend a good chunk of either my morning or my lunch break laughing myself silly.

Hum, I don’t know what to tell you about Gimp; I usually use either photoshop or paint.net to edit any pictures that need editing.

And that meal is rather cheap; if I liked Mexican food more, I’d be sure to eat there.

Frankly, I use Paint for cropping as well. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Gimp; I just equate it to a jackhammer.

Paint stays on my QuickLaunch bar for dropping screenshots (since Windows isn’t smart enough to handle that for me), quick crop jobs, and minor edits like the receipt.

Gimp is for transparency, layers, and shading. To me. :)

I do think there is a ’stroke selection’, though. You can pick a brush and size and color and it’ll draw along your selection. But I’ve only stroked paths thus far, so I’m not positive where it is… mebbe on a right-click…

Hmm. Yeah, you’d think there would be an easier way to do this in Gimp. Gimp is my default image editor on my Mac.

Did Taco Bell completely kill the volcano taco, or has it just disappeared from my area? I had trouble eating 3 at once (not literally at once time, but in quick succession). Two wasn’t a problem, but the third would unleash the fire demons.

I believe there is a “stroke selection” option somewhere that will effectively draw a box, or of course you can fill it as stated above.

But for this? Yeah. Just use Paint.

No need to pull out the jackhammer to drill a hole in the bottom of a plastic cup, right?

I have a similar problem with GIMP some days ago. I ended up using MsPaint hehe. Although I think you can use the Rectangle Select Tool for boxes or the Ellipse Select tool for circles. Then fill it with the Bucket tool. Then, you can do the same procedure to center of the box or the circle. Woow, this is crazy, there should be a better way.
