		<description>One caveat about buying gift cards on eBay - there is a seedy underbelly.  That are groups that shoplift from stores, then return the items for store credit (since they don&#039;t have a receipt) and then flip the gift cards on eBay.  Selling the cards at a small loss is still more profitable than fencing the goods.  

Of course, not everyone who sells gift cards on eBay is doing this.  If the seller has sold two gift cards, a furby, and a pair of footie pajamas in the last six months, they&#039;re probably legit.  If they&#039;ve sold 3,789 Wal-Mart gift cards, not so much ...</description>
