Even though it's little on the old side, I couldn't resist passing on this article. A man bought every combination of the Kentucky Derby trifecta so that he would assured to win. Unfortunately he spent $13,680 in placing bets. He came away with $440 in winnings.     Wow, he wasn’t too bright. In similar news, my friend just won a Trifecta bet the other day. He bet one dollar, and won $140. It was awesome.

    Greed and stupidity prove yet again to be a less than prosperous combination.

    I know you do over 10K and I’m not sure under. I’m betting you do, but I think you can offset with the losses to some degree. I don’t think you can write off loses, but I think you don’t get taxed on the winnings if your net is negative.
