Ikea Breakfast: 99 Cents

Comment First

Yesterday Energi Gal and I went to Ikea. We needed some speaker stands and some shelving, but the real draw for going in the morning was their 99 cent breakfast. I turned out to be a pretty good value for the price. I'd say it's about 2 eggs, 2 very thin strips of bacon and some home fries.

They get in several ways. Their default breakfast includes french toast sticks for an extra dollar - you have to ask for the basi, small breakfast. Also coffee or soda is extra. It was $2 for each of us, the cost of the food. There's an extra of swedish pancakes with their lingonberry sauce which is just fantastic. We also sampled a muffin, which was okay, but not fantastic. By the time we were done, we had spent over $6 on our 99-cent breakfasts. That's still a great price, but it's amazing how that adds up.

We ended up getting some basic speaker stands, nothing that noteworthy. The shelving is worth sharing. We got a Lack bookshelf - exactly what we had in mind. The price was just about right and thanks to an aunt's gift card, we didn't even spend that much money.
