I largely just want to gather all the different ways into one place. Half of it was for selfish reasons, now I can simply go to my post and look up my rankings on the various sites. For the most part, I use them all as measuring stick to see if I'm growing more popular <strike>or if people are starting to catch on to the fact that I'm a complete idiot.</strike> Yes, I do take them with a grain of salt. Could you let me know if you are using IE7? I actually had that message accessing our support url one time with IE7 and reported the issue to IE. I think the security image causes issues with the IE7, but for them to be telling everyone that a company falls under the category of "Criminal Skills; Phishing" seems like a touch of slander. Lazy Man...tools like the one's you reference...including our own, are complete assumptions based on what data we have to work with. I can tell you from our stance, our tool is good at pricing average sites, but can never take into consideration your readership, actual traffic and informational value.
