Heading to Prosper Days…

I'm going to Prosper's annual community conference today. I plan on reporting back with what I've learned this week. I expect to hear at least one or two announcements worth passing on.

In other news, I'll be giving away a couple of copies of H&R Block's Taxcut (Premium online edition) in the next couple of days. You might want to keep an eye out for that. If you haven't done your taxes yet, perhaps it pays to be a little Lazy.

Does anyone know if Lending Club has a conference?

This post deals with: ... and focuses on:

How big a conference/how many people go? I really can’t make up my mind if p2p lending is catching on or not. I see a lot of positives, but the default rates are fairly scary. Of course Ive never worked for a lending institution so I suppose it might not be that much different than the general population.
