Thanks for including my article about stretching your dollars… regarding the cell phone? I’m not saying you can’t have one :) I’m saying switch to prepaid and use it for emergencies only and not for all your phone calls. It’s crazy- I see people grocery shopping while chatting, taking walks in the park while chatting, annoying everyone behind them in checkout lines because they’re trying to pay and talk at the same time- etc. These are the unnecessary calls that people spend too much money on that could be better used somewhere else. I spend about $20 every two or three months with a prepaid cell phone.

Thank you for taking all the hours that you did to put this edition together, and thank you for including the Pasadena Financial Planner post.

You are right about the amount of work that can go into researching an objective personal finance article. For example, the “Asset Allocation, Investment Asset Tax Location, and Emergency Cash Management” post required reading 6 investment research papers, before starting to write it.
