Baseball Hall of Fame for Free!

Comment First

We stopped into Cooperstown, NY yesterday. Turns out that the military discount for the Baseball Hall of Fame is 100% off - a savings of $15 per ticket. I wonder if the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame has some kind of price matching…

It’s a fun time if you like baseball and/or American History. The most interesting fact that I learned was that towards the end of his life the Yankees denied Babe Ruth the chance to coach and he came back to Boston for a coaching job. More amazingly, he had to pay his own way into “The House that Ruth Built” to watch games. You think that Ted Williams ever had to pay to get into Fenway? Can you tell I’m a Red Sox fan?
