Alternative Income Streams Progress - May 2007

I’m a day later than usual for my usual alternative income update, but I didn’t want to separate the two sports posts. This past month, I made $392.33 via my alternative income streams. This is after-tax money as always.

It all adds up to a $60 gain from last month. Once again, a large portion of the gain came from blog advertisements. A few advertisements expired and I couldn’t renew them, or the results may have been even better.

What’s the outlook for the future? It should be very good. Google has just bestowed a PageRank of 5 for this site - up from the 4 it was just a few days ago. Without going into the technical details, it means that advertisers should be willing to pay more. It should also open up the door to new advertisements. Even if I don’t earn more next month, I recently transfered $2000 to pay off a good portion of my HELOC. This will lower my Necessary Expenses another $20. Alas I can’t count that this month because the transfer didn’t finish in April

Here’s a page where you can track all my Alternative Income Stream progress.

I like the way you match your alternative income with your expenses. This seems like a very good idea and I think I might plan on doing the same thing. The thing is my passive income is next to nothing, so I need to look for more ways to increase my passive income in the future.
