I just signed up for MoneyStrands. Like P.B., I’ve been using Mint. I love they’re service, but I’m curious to see if MoneyStrands offers more in the way of useful money tips based on my spending habits.

The amazing thing is that you are focused on a job right now and not growing your blog but still generating income from it. How many of us continue to get a paycheck after we stop working at our job?

I think the greatest investment we can make is in ourselves and in a business that generates income without significant time and effort. Ongoing streams of revenue make retirement look entirely different that depending on social security that may not be there or a pension or a retirement fund that bounces all over the place.

Yikes – how could I be oblivious to Google Trends. I was probably aware of it, but it’s pretty dumb to not check it out periodically. D’oh. Updated the keywords on my baseball draft article! Surely, use of Google Trends will results in a hundredfold increase in traffic to The Casual Observer :)

Love the article that complained about the meager leftovers from a $390 million lottery jackpot.

Oh and in case I wasn’t completely clear (it seems I wasn’t), the person should contact me on my fourth year blogversary.
